About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at McCormick Foods Australia. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in driving supply assurance, sustainability, and value delivery for our packaging portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the ongoing procurement for the Australian business and develop strategic initiatives for packaging materials.
  • Negotiate new and existing agreements with suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on commodity trends, helping to build accurate budgets and forecasting models for effective risk mitigation.
  • Execute strategies that meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to savings, supply assurance, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to address escalated inquiries and enhance overall procurement processes.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of direct packaging experience within FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Commercial acumen and a strong background in packaging and supply chain management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with local and regional teams, as well as key functional leads.
  • A desire to contribute meaningfully to the organization and the broader community, aligning procurement strategies with McCormick's sustainability and growth objectives.
