About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Lead to join our team and drive the development of our 3-5 year Procurement Strategy and Framework. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's procurement operations and contribute to our mission of creating something exceptional for local communities and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Procurement Strategy and Framework, aligning with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the procurement process for key construction-related contracts, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor procurement progress against the project plan, adjusting strategies as needed to mitigate risks and address challenges.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop a Procurement Uplift Project plan, creating achievable timelines to implement initiatives, identifying resource requirements, managing and reporting project risks, issues, actions, decisions, and status reports to the Procurement Project Control Group.
  • Oversee our Level 1 Accreditation application process, focusing on sustainability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and executing long-term procurement strategies for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procurement processes, including tendering, contract management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture.
