As a Speech Pathologist, you will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech pathology services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech pathology services to clients with varying needs and abilities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to individual client needs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
- Current registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High level of empathy and understanding of client needs.
