Disability Support Worker Job OpportunityAbout the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day support for community and SIL participants
  • Working collaboratively with a team of support workers to provide daily living support
  • Ensuring clients' appointments and health and wellbeing needs are met
  • Arranging for household supplies and maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Providing medication, recording keeping, and data logging

In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in supporting clients with complex needs, including those with Huntington Disease and mental health conditions.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated evidence of experience as a Disability Support Worker in a residential setting
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current Police Check
  • A current Working with Children's Check for paid employment
  • A current Driver Licence and own car
  • Appropriate professional development in disability support, including mental health

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28.86-$40.21 per hour and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
