- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors on-site effectively.
- Oversee a team of supervision, labour, and subcontractors.
- Work autonomously at times, coordinating internal and external resources as needed.
- Ensure timely project completion within established parameters.
- Maintain regular program updates for the project team and subcontractors.
- Manage daily records and diaries, supporting cost control and productivity tracking with the engineering team.
- Facilitate collaboration between various trades, ensuring sub-contractors work safely and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders to uphold our reputation.
- Participate in regular WHS inspections, investigate incidents, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and monitor environmental controls, reviewing their effectiveness regularly.
- Review and provide input on subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
- Organize defect work completion in a timely manner.
- Engage in continuous improvement through lesson-learned sessions.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in managing projects with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and teams simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in the construction industry, preferably in project management or supervisory roles.
