Senior Leadership Role

The Senior Finance Director is responsible for driving the success and sustainability of our organisation by providing strategic leadership to the Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and goals.
  • Provides informed decision-making and commercial acumen to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Leads the finance team to achieve financial objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Strategic planning, organisational governance, and risk management to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Stakeholder engagement and management at a director level.
Requirements:
  • Extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, management accounting, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in the civil construction, infrastructure or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and associated practices.
  • Ability to develop and support teams to improve capability.
  • Expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting (intermediate to advanced).

Please note that this role requires a high level of business acumen and commercial thinking, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
