About Cairns Convention Centre
Job Title: Security CoordinatorThis is a casual role that plays a key part in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property at the centre.
- Ensure the centre is secure at all times.
- Operate the security control room and front desk.
- Assist with event security coordination.
- Manage emergency services and evacuation procedures.
We are looking for someone who has shared values and a people-centric mindset. They should be genuinely passionate about making a difference and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, overnight, and public holidays.
- You must have a minimum of two years' experience in a security coordination role, preferably within events or corporate security.
- You need to hold a current QLD Class 1 Security license.
- A satisfactory National Police Records Check and valid working rights in Australia are required.
