About the RoleAs a Casual Security Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property at the Cairns Convention Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that the Centre is secure.
- Operate the Security Control Room and Security Front Desk.
- Assist with the coordination of event security
- Assist with the management of emergency services and evacuation procedures for the Centre.

- You will enjoy working flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, overnight and public holidays.
- Flexibility to provide roster coverage for both events and non-event days.
- You will value the safety of yourself, team and clients.
- You have minimum two (2) years' experience in a Security Coordination role, preferably within the events or corporate security sector.
- You will hold a current QLD Class 1Security license.
A satisfactory National Police Records Check and valid working rights in Australia are required for this role.
