The Sports Turf Curator position is now available in Royal Park, Parkville. We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team in maintaining and renovating turf to the highest standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and renovating turf surfaces, ensuring they meet the required standards. This includes using chemicals while adhering to all chemical management processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing tools, equipment, and fleet, as well as reporting any maintenance or repair issues. You must demonstrate a commitment to the health, wellbeing, and safety of your team members.

Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge of green keeping and sports turf management
  • Experience with turf machinery and line marking
  • Able to operate effectively with limited direct supervision
  • High energy level
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Turf Management apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Current Driver's License
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
  • Experience in supervising and motivating staff
