Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our team in Melbourne. As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of materials required for various projects.

Your primary focus will be on creating and issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to relevant teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting of any discrepancies or issues
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within the rail or manufacturing industry. You should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have strong problem-solving abilities.

You will also require proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to read and understand reports. Additionally, you should be a team player who can assist with daily department duties and meetings as needed.
