Raw Materials Procurement Specialist

The procurement of raw materials is a critical function within our organization, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials required for production.

We are seeking an experienced Raw Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from generating vendor schedules to negotiating delivery timings and maintaining accurate Purchase Orders.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with SAP or similar systems. Knowledge of supply chain processes and the FMCG industry is also essential.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate delivery timings with vendors
  • Generate vendor schedules for all materials to be purchased on site
  • Maintain and generate Purchase Orders accurately, managing the Purchase Order process
  • Notify early any long-term material constraints, highlighting potential solutions
  • Attend Key Supplier Reviews
  • Participate in continuous improvement opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with SAP or similar systems
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and the FMCG industry
