Job Title

The UNSW AI Institute is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to provide administrative support for key programs and projects. This permanent opportunity offers a unique chance to contribute to the development of artificial intelligence in various areas, including healthcare, robotics, and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project coordination and executive support
  • Contribute to communications and build key internal and external relationships
  • Respond to complex enquiries using sound judgment, initiative, technical expertise, and discretion

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in administration, with PA/EA experience to senior management in a large and complex multi-stakeholder research institution or equivalent highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications

Benefits:

  • Salary: $103,866 to $110,801 per annum + 17% superannuation
  • Full time, continuing (permanent) employment
