Compliance and Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Sustainability Specialist to oversee compliance and governance of environmental requirements in the Project Management Framework.
This exciting opportunity involves providing technical environmental advice to ensure compliance during construction, including identifying obligations, reviewing studies, contributing to risk assessments, and escalating risks or non-compliance as needed.
- Preparing regulatory reports, including Annual Performance Statements, National Pollution Inventory, and Independent Audits.
- Providing advice and developing strategies with respect to environmental and cultural heritage regulatory matters, including identifying risks, methods for managing stakeholder relationships, and implementing requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with project teams to deliver projects in accordance with legislation requirements on time and within budget.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environment, Science, or equivalent and experience in contractor management in a greenfield construction.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading and mentoring teams to achieve sustainability goals and objectives.
