Job Title:

Diagnostic Radiologist

A Diagnostic Radiologist is required to provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service. The specialist will contribute across a broad clinical spectrum, including active participation in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings covering various specialties.

The role involves providing support in general diagnostic radiology, including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal cases, as part of the on-call roster. Competence or a strong interest in additional subspecialties such as Chest, Paediatric Body, or Cardiac Radiology is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in research relevant to the role and needs of the Department.
  • Support in general diagnostic radiology, including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal cases.
Requirements:
  • Registration or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Demonstrated capacity and/or experience in the provision of high-quality service in the specialty.
  • Commitment to teaching with experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and other staff.
