Advanced Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing MRI and CT imaging with autonomy, demonstrating professional expertise, clinical judgment, and competencies across complex modalities while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
This role involves working closely with colleagues across the department to enhance patient outcomes, share knowledge, and foster a supportive, learning-focused workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing MRI and CT imaging with autonomy, demonstrating professional expertise, clinical judgment, and competencies across complex modalities while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and continuous service enhancement.
- Delivering high-quality patient care with sensitivity to patient needs and psychology, ensuring accurate documentation, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration and a valid NSW EPA Radiation License.
- Significant experience in Medical Imaging, with strong knowledge and hands-on skills in CT and MRI modalities.
- Collaborative and independent work style, inspiring and motivating colleagues while contributing to shared departmental goals.
- High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, strong computer literacy, and active engagement in continuing professional development.
As an Advanced Imaging Specialist, you will have opportunities to engage in ongoing CPD, support student education, mentor junior staff, and contribute to departmental in-service training, research, and evidence-based practice.
