Job Summary

Bendigo Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Casual Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in our Acute hospital and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation and/or Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Contribute to the development of the inpatient occupational therapy service and the larger occupational therapy department.
  • Provide leadership, support, supervision, and direction to Grade 1 occupational therapists, students, and allied health assistants as required.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Relevant experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
