Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time role located at the Erina Depot. As a key member of the Spray Sealing Crew, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of Council's Spray Sealing Program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide quality customer service and create value for the community through effective communication and teamwork skills.

You will operate a range of heavy machinery including spreader trucks, front end loaders, street sweepers and multi-tyred rollers in a safe and efficient manner.

Familiarity with road safety signage and safety procedures relevant to construction work is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service and create value for the community through effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate a range of heavy machinery including spreader trucks, front end loaders, street sweepers and multi-tyred rollers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Road Safety: Familiarity with road safety signage and safety procedures relevant to construction work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • HR Drivers Licence: Current HR Drivers Licence is required for this role.
  • Safework Traffic Control Certificate: Current Safework Traffic Control Certificate is also required.
  • Construction General Induction Card: Valid Construction General Induction Card, Safework NSW or equivalent is necessary.
  • Safe Work Near Overhead Power Lines Certificate: Safe Work Near Overhead Power Lines Certificate is also essential.
