Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostics and inspections are key components of this role, ensuring safety, quality, and industry standards are met.
  • Maintenance of company vehicles and assets is crucial, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Effective communication of safety or maintenance issues is essential.
  • Field-related mechanical repairs are necessary for the smooth operation of our fleet.
  • Maintenance work must be performed according to company procedures.
Requirements:
  • A relevant trade qualification (MVTC) is a requirement for this position.
  • Possess Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology or related equivalent; or 4–5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in service and maintenance of vehicles is preferred.
  • Adherence to WHS regulations and company policies is essential.
  • A team-oriented approach with a proactive attitude and drive for continuous improvement is required.
  • Physical fitness and ability to pass a pre-employment medical check and Working with Children check are mandatory.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or unrestricted working rights are necessary.
  • A current Unrestricted Australian driver's license is also required.
Benefits:
  • Earning Potential: $100,000+ including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances.
  • Overtime rate: $35.38 - $42.44 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
  • Tool Allowance: $17.90 payable weekly.
  • Attendance Allowance: $32 payable on rostered hours.
  • Annual Leave loading: 17.5%.
  • Ongoing Training and Development: Including in-house Heavy Vehicle Brake courses with a registered TAFE teacher.
