Senior Road Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of general maintenance services, predominantly in the area of roads and drainage. This includes coordinating road, drainage, and civil works projects, as well as ensuring quality customer service and creating value for the community.

This role requires strong leadership skills with the ability to get the best from a team and achieve project targets. Effective communication and planning skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate road, drainage, and civil works projects
  • Oversee staff and contractors delivering maintenance works
  • Ensure quality customer service and create value for the community

Requirements:

  • A valid Construction General Induction card (NSW Work Cover) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
  • A current MR Licence or higher
  • A current Provide First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain within 4 weeks of commencement
  • A current RMS Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificates (Blue & Yellow Cards) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
  • Proven experience in civil maintenance of roads, drains, and associated works
