Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to lead our team in daily maintenance and repair operations. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of our fleet to identify and address any issues or defects, performing repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher.
  • Demonstrated expertise in WHS regulations and company policies, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residence, or unrestricted working rights in Australia.
