Job Opportunity: Health and Safety Partner

We're committed to zero harm across our business.

We're seeking a proactive and passionate Health & Safety Partner to join our national Health and Safety team, supporting our North Regional business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the North Regional Business in ensuring issues are understood, controls are implemented, and compliance and assurance measures reviewed.
  • Work closely with frontline staff to deliver strong alignment between operational risks and health and safety controls.
  • Relish the opportunity to travel to various sites on a regular basis to engage with leaders and employees and really understand their challenges.
  • Review critical risks and ensure site has a clearly defined action plan and controls in place to mitigate these risks.
Requirements:
  • A proactive approach with a willingness and commitment to partnering with operational teams.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with strong skills in incident investigations and facilitating learnings from incidents.
  • Experience in a high-risk, industrial environment, preferably in quarries or mining.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and communication skills with a natural ability to build solid relationships.
