Major Gifts Fundraiser Role

This opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about cultivating relationships and supporting the growth of major gifts within a dynamic educational environment.

  • Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders to build trust, foster long-term engagement, and support donors in understanding the transformative impact of their contributions.
  • Active management of a portfolio of prospective major donors to support priority projects and initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of donor events, communications, and other programs to enhance philanthropic efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor engagement through advanced CRM systems.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge that support effective philanthropic programs.
  1. Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or community engagement, preferably within non-profit and/or educational sectors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent project management skills, time management, and ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and creative thinking abilities, along with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing, communications, and fundraising principles, particularly within the education sector.
  • Previous experience working within complex customer-focused organizations and proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and innovative in response to changing organizational needs and client requirements.
  • Capacity to interpret, analyze, and report on data.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems.
