We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, AU.

About the Role
  • As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for various financial and management accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing senior management with support for accounting and finance issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Client-facing finance focal for the contract; escalating issues and working with clients for resolution
  • Ensure timely completion of various month-end deliverables
  • Work closely with project controls to ensure budget and forecasting activities are completed timely and analyzed
  • Provide financial insights on project performance to assist senior management in decision making
Requirements
  • Accounting degree and qualified CPA/CA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Oil & Gas/Construction project accounting experience essential
  • Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a particular context
  • Professional demeanor, interpersonal skills
