Environmental Conservation Officer

The Assistant Project Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering pest animal and weed management projects and programs, driving conservation outcomes across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection for pest animal and weed programs to support monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
- Provide field and technical assistance to ensure accurate data capture and storage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate and implement pest species control training programs.
- Plan and execute pest management operations, surveys, and monitoring activities.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with pest management procedures and activities.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in administrative and support services.
- Understanding of contemporary project management principles and practices.
- Willingness to obtain firearms, pesticide, and aviation land management competencies.
- Ability to work in remote and challenging environments.
