Job Title: Database Administrator

Job Description

A key member of our team will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build databases using various configurations, including Oracle standalone, RAC, ADG, Golden Gate, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Master Slave configuration, DR setup, AlwaysOn, Replication or Logshipping.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation related to database configuration.
  • Perform patch management, performance trend analysis, and manage server/network capacity.
  • Use automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve potential problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Database Admin on Oracle, EDB Postgres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL.
  • Formal IT-related qualifications.
  • Proven ability to deliver results within specific time frames.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
