Job Role

This is a 12-month full-time fixed term position as Customer Liaison.

Main Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a professional to provide top-notch customer service to residents, contractors and internal customers.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for triaging routine maintenance requests and fault reports, assigning work orders and purchase requisitions.
  • They will also escalate non-routine and/or complex maintenance requests and fault reports to Parks & Open Space Officers.
  • A strong liaison role requires working with Council contractors, receiving completion notices or requests for further information.
  • The successful applicant must maintain accurate data in various systems and escalate follow up actions as required.
  • Assistance with procurement processes, processing purchase orders and invoices is also a key aspect of this role.
  • The administration of service contracts relating to reactive and proactive maintenance activities will be undertaken by the chosen candidate.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling information is essential.
Requirements
  • The selected candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • An understanding of customer service principles and practices is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative procedures and protocols is expected.
