About the Role

This role leads and embeds consumer-first thinking across all brand, portfolio and commercial strategy decisions.

You will partner with research agencies, the marketing team, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the voice of the consumer is front and centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage consumer research projects in partnership with agency suppliers
  • Lead a brand health tracking program and flexi-modules
  • Build frameworks for competitive benchmarking, NPD preference testing and sensory evaluation
  • Communicate consumer learnings to senior leadership and across the wider business
  • Manage trend and insights partnerships (e.g. market research firms)
  • Act as the consumer voice in commercial and strategic forums
  • Assist with marketing team capability uplift across insights methodologies
  • Manage an insights budget across sensory and consumer understanding

About You

You are a consumer insights leader with 5-7 years of experience (client or agency side).

You possess expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research.

You have strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

You have experience managing research agencies and internal partnerships.

You have knowledge of FMCG, QSR or foodservice (ideal).

You have strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking skills.

You have a proactive, structured approach and the ability to bring insight to life for commercial teams.

You hold a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Commerce.
