Job Description

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and bulk cooking of hot and cold meals in commercial quantities, catering to Business and Economy Class passengers across multiple airlines.

You will work in a busy, open-plan kitchen environment, ensuring that all culinary items are produced consistently to high-quality standards. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee meal preparation and cooking
  • Ensure accurate stock control and minimize food wastage
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards at all times
  • Enforce compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred
