About the Role

The Army Information Management Objective Project Manager will be the primary interface with Army on all Objective remediation system and governance requirements. They will implement and sustain policy, processes, and procedures to ensure that existing Objective content is migrated to a new folder structure and new content is stored as required.

This includes the application of file retention policies, caveats, and classifications. The role will contribute to reducing the impact of command and control changes in accessing, protecting and securing information through significant structural remediation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage information and records management activities in accordance with the Archives Act 1983, relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes in relation to the Objective life cycle of records management activities and relevant legislative and administrative guidance.
  • Build and sustain stakeholder engagement including the ability to communicate with influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for complex issues.
  • Develop and implement information and records management policies and procedures to achieve continuous improvement.

About Our Team

The Directorate of Business ICT Development is involved in new and innovative ICT solutions for Army, including Information Management, Data Analytics and HR Tool development. Army Information Management is a small team within the Business ICT Development - Army, and responsible for ensuring Army Information Management policy and procedures are compliant and complied with in the Army.

The Army Information Management records team provides advice into broader Defence information and records management policy and frameworks, develops and provides advice on Service level policies, frameworks and practices as information and records management practitioners.
