Business Support Supervisor Queensland Government

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Supervisor to join our team at the Queensland Government. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the achievement of our strategic, business, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and develop the Business Support Team to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently.
- Manage escalated enquiries and requests, providing support and advice to customer support staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Provide administration management support and manage priority requests as required, in accordance with agreed timeframes.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to promote effective working relationships and facilitate the exchange of information.
- Review, create, and/or modify knowledge base articles to equip staff to provide a responsive customer service.
- Actively maintain high-level operational knowledge of corporate technology and practices relevant to a procurement and contract management environment.
- Prepare reports and briefing notes as required, on behalf of the business unit.
- Continuously seek to improve work practices, internal processes, and procedures.
- Respond proactively and flexibly to change, with a focus on stakeholders' needs.
- Proven experience in a business support or administrative role, with a focus on team leadership and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex information and apply specialist knowledge to drive business outcomes.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement, contract management, and governance principles.
