The role of the Program Director, Queensland Health, is a critical position within the Queensland Government's health infrastructure program. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Director, DCP, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the program.

The program has an overall budget exceeding $600 million and is one of the largest health infrastructure programs in Australia. The Capacity Expansion Program (CEP) is a key component of this initiative, aiming to bring healthcare services and capabilities to more Queenslanders than ever before.

The Program Director will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that each project within the program has the necessary agreements, services, and resources in place for successful delivery.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to identify and address any challenges or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure the program's overall objectives are met.

This is a key leadership role within the Queensland Government, requiring a strong understanding of health infrastructure development and program management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
