About the Role

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to oversee our café operations. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for rostering and stock management, monitoring social media engagement, and driving sales and marketing efforts. You will also foster a positive work environment by leading and motivating your team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a hospitality management role, with a strong passion for specialty coffee and excellent leadership skills. They will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a warm and friendly personality.

In this dynamic and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in high-quality specialty coffee and work closely with our roaster.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day café operations, including rostering and stock management.
  • Monitor and manage social media engagement.
  • Drive sales, marketing, and community engagement.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by leading and motivating a passionate team.
  • Maintain consistently high standards in coffee and food preparation and presentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a hospitality management role (specialty coffee knowledge is essential).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A warm, friendly personality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure during busy periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A customer-focused approach, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable café experience.
