We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team and contribute to delivering project and corporate communications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in internal and external communications to work with a dedicated and professional team that values collaboration and innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key messages, writing communications, editing drafts, securing approvals, and disseminating communications across relevant channels. They will also provide expert advice on effective communication strategies for complex internal issues.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external communications in a government or corporate environment
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to write in a clear, concise and engaging manner for different audiences and purposes
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines
In addition to your technical skills and qualifications, you must be able to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance. Australian citizenship is required for this position.
