Maritime Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Harbour Engineer to join our team in delivering exciting and challenging projects. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a critical role in the design and planning activities for large-scale maritime facilities.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment. You should also be familiar with local Australian and international design codes and guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and contribute to innovative projects that improve the efficiency and sustainability of our harbour infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and evaluation of harbour structures, including wharves, jetties, and port developments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans
  • Provide expert guidance on structural analysis software, such as SPACE GASS, Strand 7, and IDEAStatica
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional project outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or ability to obtain within agreed timeframe
  • 5-15 years of experience in municipal harbour engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of local Australian and international design codes and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
