Maritime Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a Maritime Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. This technical engineering role focuses on undertaking planning and design of maritime infrastructure as part of a high-performing team, working on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.

About the Role:
  • Undertake planning and design of maritime infrastructure projects, focusing on adding value across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Interact with clients, stakeholders, and industry across a diverse range of maritime projects.
  • Develop opportunities in project and design management relating to maritime infrastructure.
  • Support and guide graduate engineers within the team.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical design skills in structural and coastal engineering.
  • Around 5 years of professional experience in planning, assessment, analysis, design, and remediation of maritime structures.
  • Familiarity with maritime design codes and guidelines in Australia and Asia.
  • Capability in using structural analysis software is desirable.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce accurate reports, technical specifications, design calculations, and drafting briefs.
  • Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Achieved or working towards RPEQ registration.
  • Eligibility to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.
