Organizational Development Specialist


About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide strategic input and support to senior leaders and business stakeholders in driving organizational growth and development. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions that align with business objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of human resources principles, policies, and procedures as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive business results through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and business stakeholders to develop and implement organizational strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify key trends and areas for improvement within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to address identified gaps and improve organizational performance.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees on HR-related matters and facilitate employee development opportunities.
  • Manage and analyze HR metrics and data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Strong systems knowledge including Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, and HRIS/Payroll software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian/New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Prior experience working in a retail/service/medical device environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into strategic HR initiatives.
