Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

The Injury Management and Return to Work Specialist will lead the strategic delivery of early intervention, injury management, and return to work processes.
This role is responsible for creating safe workplaces through prevention of harm and support of employees during recovery and reintegration after an injury.
The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on injuries or illnesses, manage workers' compensation claims, and collaborate with employees, leaders, health professionals, and stakeholders to achieve safe return to work outcomes.

- Collaborate with employees, leaders, health professionals, and stakeholders to facilitate safe return to work outcomes.
You will need a degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Allied Health or substantial experience in occupational rehabilitation. You must also be an Australian Citizen and willing to obtain the VIC RTW Coordinator certificate. Experience liaising with insurers and workers' compensation authorities is desirable.
A strong understanding of psychosocial risks and their influence on return-to-work outcomes is highly regarded.
