Maintenance Asset Controller

The Maintenance Asset Controller is a critical position within the Airbus maintenance organization, responsible for ensuring the on-going maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Support and Test Equipment (S&TE).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement GSE and S&TE maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure equipment availability for aircraft maintenance
- Maintain and update Airbus GSE and S&TE records, providing status reports to maintenance management and DASR Responsible Manager as required
- Perform periodic stocktakes of GSE and S&TE
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance of Airbus GSE and S&TE, including procurement and disposal as needed
- Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships for timely and effective maintenance and calibration services
- Coordinate on-site vendor access to support C-J maintenance activities
- Coordinate waste management
To succeed in this role, you will be a team player with well-developed relationship-building skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work to deadlines in a continuous improvement environment.
Requirements- Class 'C' Open Drivers Licence
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Tools, including Microsoft Access and spreadsheets, with the ability to write technical reports
- Ability to understand and interpret technical compliance requirements in the aviation maintenance environment
- Understanding of the interdependencies between maintenance, support engineering, and supply chain in a logistics environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to GSE and S&TE to maintain agreed serviceability rates
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
