Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's cyber, technology and data risk management. This includes providing expert advice on designing policies and frameworks, as well as interpreting legislation and regulations.

This is a key opportunity to shape the organisation's risk culture and influence major transformation projects. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, offering both challenge and support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on policy design and framework implementation
  • Assisting in the interpretation of legislation and regulations
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and translating complex technical issues into clear business-focused insights
  • Oversight of cyber resilience exercises and regulatory testing
  • Building credibility across the business with the technical expertise to challenge and influence senior stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • In-depth knowledge of cyber risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and standards
  • Experience in Cyber Risk and/or Information Security Management or related functions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at Board and Executive level
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Information Security qualifications such as CISSP, SABSA, or CISM
