Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Manager to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in HVAC management in Australia, holding a trade qualification and experience working with Tier 2 builders and above.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate daily on-site operations, manage subcontractors, and allocate resources to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and maintain clear communication.
  • Ensure site safety practices are upheld including adherence to safety regulations and conducting risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as an HVAC Manager in Australia.
  • Trade qualification in HVAC.
  • Experience working with Tier 2 builders and above.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial, healthcare, education or government projects valued up to $10 million mechanical value.
  • Strong subcontractor and client management skills and the ability to manage OH&S and all relevant project documentation and reporting.
