HVAC Operations Manager Position

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC operations manager to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing on-site daily operations, coordinating subcontractors, and allocating resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Site inspections and quality assurance checks will be conducted regularly to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders is essential to address challenges and maintain open communication.
  • Maintenance of site safety practices, including adherence to safety regulations and risk assessments, is paramount.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC site management in Australia is required.
  • Possession of an HVAC trade qualification is necessary.
  • Experience working with Tier 2 builders and above is preferred.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, or government projects valued up to $10m mechanical value would be advantageous.
  • Strong skills in subcontractor and client management, as well as ability to manage OH&S and relevant project documentation and reporting, are essential.
