Preventive Heart Health Project Coordinator

Join our organisation in a pivotal role to support the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance (AUSCAA) as part of our heart health team.
About the OpportunityThis is a maximum term position with hybrid working options. You will play a key part in establishing a strong governance framework, supporting working groups and driving strategic initiatives aimed at preventing sudden cardiac death.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical support to the Steering Committee in setting up the Alliance's governance system.
- Lead document reviews, scoping exercises and the establishment of working groups.
- Assist in the creation and dissemination of governance structures and ensure progress tracking of ongoing projects.
- Coordinate communication, meetings and reports with stakeholders and the public.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a health-related field.
- Strong knowledge of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia, including funding schemes and networks.
- Experience as an Executive Officer and/or in project management.
- Proven ability to develop strategies and new initiatives.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Skilled in managing priorities, deadlines and multitasking effectively.
- Clear, analytical thinker with a strong grasp of scientific information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and service-oriented approach.
