Project Coordinator Infection Prevention Role

A key position supporting the Infection Prevention and Control team is available. The role involves providing high-level secretariat and project management support, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the IPC team on work related to the transition of infection prevention guidelines. This includes undertaking end-to-end procurement, project planning and management, contract management, budgeting, preparing reports and briefings, and providing secretariat support for committees and working groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Utilize conceptual, analytical, and research skills with sound judgment and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Develop strong written and oral communication skills to produce documents that clearly communicate complex issues.
  • Establish strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and develop productive working relationships with stakeholders.
