About the OpportunityThe Coordinator Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) projects supports the effective delivery of key safety initiatives at NSW Ambulance, focusing on the Body Worn Camera (BWC) and In-Vehicle Camera (IVC) projects. This role works closely with the OVP Project Officer to coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, manage logistics, and support stakeholder engagement.
The Coordinator OVP provides essential administrative, scheduling, and coordination support across the OVP program, contributing to project success, operational efficiency, and alignment with broader organisational goals and may be required to contribute to other OVP initiatives as required.
Please note: This position is for a period of up to twenty-one (21) months with possible extension.

- You are passionate about work health and safety, with a strong focus on occupational violence, psychological hazards, and implementing risk mitigation initiatives in frontline or high-risk environments
- We are looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience supporting the coordination of projects or workstreams within complex organisations, ideally in health, emergency services, safety, or government settings.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders including frontline workers, unions, vendors, and support functions (e.g., ICT, Legal, Training)
- Demonstrates strong skills in managing competing priorities, tracking tasks, and supporting project governance through planning, scheduling, and reporting
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
