Nurse Clinical Leader

This position offers an opportunity to lead and influence others in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of residents' strengths and needs, developing individualised support that promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.
The role provides direct clinical care and oversees the delivery of clinical and allied health services for residents. This includes ensuring all assessments are completed during the admission process and as required when residents' care needs change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership to Care Partners, ensuring care needs are met in accordance with clinical needs and residents' care plans.
- Developing care plans for each resident, utilising information from assessments and liaising with residents, family, GP, allied health professionals and other staff.
- Promoting consistency in individual residents' care, delegating activities and providing direction to Enrolled Nurses, Care Partners and others.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills.
- Able to lead and influence others.
- Relates to the aged care population with empathy, understanding and respect.
