Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Production Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in enhancing vocational opportunities while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and guide employees to meet organisational goals and commercial objectives.
  • Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
  • Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes, and business requirements.
  • Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, adjusting process as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Truck or forklift licence highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.
  • Experience in disability support will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation with a natural empathetic nature.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain necessary checks and certifications.
