Production Team Leader Job Description

The Production Team Leader is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and guiding employees to meet their employment goals and ensure commercial outcomes are achieved.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and guide employees to meet NDIS goals and commercial outcomes.
  • Promote positive behavior support and a collaborative team culture.
  • Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
  • Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
  • Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, adjusting process as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team.
  • Experience in disability support will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organization with a natural empathetic nature.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver's License.
