Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

This role is a procurement specialist position located in Brisbane, working with the Development - Associated Gas team within a specific unit.

The responsibilities of this role involve identifying and managing contract and procurement packages, as well as developing project procurement plans and strategies to meet stakeholder requirements.

Key tasks include:

  • Identifying and delivering project benefits through sourcing and negotiation;
  • Developing the Project Procurement Plan, including strategy for areas such as warehousing and materials management;
  • Ensuring integration and alignment between key work scopes and contract packages;
  • Providing expertise in support of project objectives to execute within cost and schedule constraints;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and processes;
  • Ensuring adherence to an organizational management system; and,
  • Ensuring adherence to a delegation of authority framework.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant C&P-related certifications, proven oil and gas contracting experience of more than 10 years, and experience in procurement-related roles. Global experience, especially in developing countries and/or remote locations, is also desirable.

This assignment is initially offered for a period of time, engaged via a staffing agency. The location for this assignment is Brisbane, working full-time office hours.
