Train Examiner Position

 

The role of a Train Examiner involves overseeing the operational efficiency and safety of train operations. This includes managing train arrivals and departures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to drivers and maintenance teams.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering drivers to locomotives
  • Managing train arrivals/departures including shunting trains and minor mechanical maintenance repairs
  • Presentation of incoming trains to car dumpers and preparation for train departures to the mines

 

Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a Cat1 Rail Medical
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Physically fit
  • Experience working in a hot environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
