About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Habit Coach to join our team in Albury. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in achieving their goals and increasing their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists to support participants in developing greater independence and reaching their full potential.
  • Work with participants across all ages and stages of life, supporting them in various aspects of their daily lives.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements
  • Be studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Have consistent and ongoing availability to work, including minimum two (2) days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines.
  • Be available to travel to regional and surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, and a passion for working within the disability sector.
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's license and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Obtain an NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
